Apple Season

What a beautiful time of the year to take a drive.  We stopped in Blue Ridge and picked apples at Mercers, their apple cider is to dye for.

Last week in January

Good morning neighbor, 

It was so nice to visit with you this morning.  Thank you for allowing me to come in at 7:30 a.m., I must have herd the nudge that you needed a friend this morning.  As you were sharing your feelings of your neighbor who has kidney failure I could hear your heart ache for your loved friend. 

As I left it warmed my heart that you allowed me to come in and listen to your words of wisdom.

I will always remember this neighbor, she was a great cook. The aroma would fill the air three doors down. Her  plum tree fed all the kids in the neighborhood.

Saturday morning

Good morning neighbor, thank you so much for checking on me today. You have been so kind  making sure we are warm and that our pipes did not freeze last night.  We are so greatful to live in a safe neighborhood, I left my car running this morning for 15 minutes to get it warm before heading out.
